Solution for localising Oracle Forms Applications

AMS for Oracle Forms provides a complete solution to deliver localised Oracle Forms applications without modifying the original application. The specificities of the Oracle Forms platform are handled by a dedicated AMS Extractor and a dedicated AMS Extension.

AMS Studio & Oracle Forms Extractor
AMS Studio is an integrated environment used to manage the localisation project. AMS Studio comes with all the tools to smoothly handle all the phases of the localisation project. Here is the list of all modules:

• Translation Editor Module: enter and manage translations
• Extractor Module: extract texts from source code
• Duplicator Module: duplicate textual resources in different languages
• Thesaurus Editor Module: allow direct access to the thesaurus content

• Web Translator: display translated Web applications
• XML Manager: manage the translation of XML data

AMS Runtime & Oracle Forms Extension
The AMS Runtime is the runtime part of AMS. It includes the AMS Engine that does the text interception and the AMS Thesaurus that stores the translations. A dedicated engine extension for Oracle Forms is provided that allows recognising Oracle Forms controls. Thanks to the Oracle Forms extension, controls can be resized during the execution of the application.

The AMS Runtime is a royalty-free component and can be deployed to any computer by the AMS licensee.
