AMS for SAP BusinessObjects Desk Intelligence (DeskI) provides a complete solution to deliver localised BusinessObjects DeskI reports without modifying the original reports. The specificities of the DeskI platform are handled by a dedicated AMS Extractor and a dedicated AMS Extension.

AMS Studio & BusinessObjects DeskI Extractor
AMS Studio is an integrated environment used to manage the localisation project. AMS Studio comes with all the tools to smoothly handle all the phases of the localisation project. Here is the list of all modules:

• Translation Editor Module: enter and manage translations
• Extractor Module: extract texts from source code
• Duplicator Module: duplicate textual resources in different languages

AMS Runtime & BusinessObjects DeskI Extension
The AMS Runtime is the runtime part of AMS. It includes the AMS Engine that does the text interception and the AMS Thesaurus that stores the translations. A dedicated engine extension for BusinessObjects DeskI is provided that allows recognising BusinessObjects DeskI controls.

The AMS Runtime is a royalty-free component and can be deployed to any computer by the AMS licensee.
